- To improve the quality of life for residents in Ouston.
- To develop an Ouston improvement plan.
- To encourage residents to voice their concerns about the village and
its environs.
- To hold regular monthly meetings to hear and discuss the views and
concerns of Ouston residents.
- To update Ouston Villagers regularly to
keep them informed of projects.
- To publish an Ouston Villagers' Association
newsletter three times a year in February, June and November.
- To build relationships with County and
Parish Councils, Durham Constabulary and other public services.
- To work in partnership with other public
services.
- To work with other Villager/Resident Associations
in Co Durham to support each other.
